Montecristi hat is an often-seen staple in the fashionista's and connoisseurs repertoire. Crafted from the supple Carludovica palm leaves known as "Toquilla straw", this material provides a consistently uniform texture with its own signature creamy hue.

Hand-woven in Montecristi, Ecuador using heritage techniques, each hat is then refined and hand-finished in our UK workshop. The final polish is carried out using traditional processes and original hand-operated machinery in one of Britain's most historic factories. Marchesi di Montecristi Panamas are blocked by hand, and a discreet silicone reinforcement is added inside the pinch.

Each piece is completed with a soft sweatband and a protective silk-branded patch inside the crown, ensuring lasting comfort and durability.
