Authentic Montecristi Panama hat performed entirely manually in Montecristi - Ecuador by one of the few master artisans that can craft at the highest quality standards. Each of these hats takes approximately fifteen days to one month to be woven

• Colour: Natural straw, sulphur-treated at origin in Montecristi, a recognised marker of genuine Montecristi hats, using a traditional process rather than chemical bleaching
• Model: Men's small brim - Trilby
• Weave: Handwoven flexible herringbone (More Weave types info)

• Height: 12cm
• Short Brim: Around 5cm, although this can vary slightly because hats are fully hand woven with original 'back weaved' edge

Hand-woven in Montecristi, Ecuador using heritage techniques, each hat is then refined and hand-finished in our UK workshop. The final polish is carried out using traditional processes and original hand-operated machinery in one of Britain’s most historic factories.

Completed with a soft sweatband and a protective silk-branded patch inside the crown for lasting comfort and durability.
